A Christmas Themed Story
This updated work was previously published under the title “enWrappture” with another publisher.
Genre: Contemporary, M/M, BDSM
Spending the Christmas holiday on the east coast, Christopher O’Malley finds himself without family or friends. That is until he meets little Emily, her mother Devyn, and her uncle Mason…a writer whose pen name is Master Stafon. The author of a series of BDSM books Christopher is fascinated with.
Christopher is immediately attracted to Mason, even before he discovers the man’s profession. As Christmas draws near, the holiday looks more appealing as Christopher is given the opportunity of a lifetime. To experience bondage play first hand. Could this be the gift that keeps on giving?
His gaze locked with Mason’s and the air around them stilled, as if the entire world had stopped. The attraction immediately hooked Christopher, sending shivers of lust through his body. He’d felt desire toward others, both men and women, but this was enough to knock the breath from his lungs. Never had the magnetism been this intense, this abrupt.
Mason moved first, rounding the counter, his eyes never leaving Christopher’s. Those all-consuming eyes were brown, the color of delicious milk chocolate. Like his sister, he was of Hispanic descent, skin dark olive and hair dark brown, nearly black. He wore a pair of black jeans and a red T-shirt. Mason stood a couple inches shorter than Christopher.
“It’s nice to finally meet you,” Mason said, holding out his hand to Christopher. “Emily has been talking about you practically non-stop since she came back from the beach.”
Heat flushed Christopher’s cheeks. “Has she? All I did was help her build some sandcastles.”
Mason’s hand felt like fire when it touched his. No callouses. An image of Mason using those long fingers and smooth palms to slowly caress every inch of his skin flashed in his mind. Just the thought of feeling that warmth roaming his body sent sparks of desire to his groin, making him bite back a groan.
“It seems she’s not the only one you left an impression with.” Mason’s eyes cut to his sister for a brief glare. Devyn started setting the table with hardly a glance back at them.
Christopher didn’t know what to say as he drew his hand back from the handshake. How was he to know his little flirting would lead him to an invitation to dinner? But, he wasn’t sorry. Not if it led him to meeting the most gorgeous man he’d ever laid eyes on.
Swallowing, Christopher pushed down the urge to reach out and slide his fingers over the fine jaw covered with a day’s growth.
“Well, I appreciate the invitation to dinner. Emily told me all about how delicious Devyn’s lasagna was. The best in the entire universe, I believe she said.”
“Yep,” Emily chirped from her station at the counter. “Uncle Mason, I think the pudding is done.”
Mason’s gaze wandered over Christopher for a brief moment more before he took a step back, his full attention on Emily. Christopher hadn’t missed the way the other man’s eyes slightly darkened before turning away. His stomach quivered, thankful for the slight sign of mutual attraction. Perhaps tonight wouldn’t be a total disaster after all.
