"Back to school" giveaway

Well, it's that time of year again. School has started. This year, my children are actually going to a Charter school rather than homeschooling like last year. This had me celebrating as I thought I'd have more time to write or do the dreaded housework without interruptions. *ppft* Riiiiight.
It's week two of school and now my husband is off all week. He's as bad as my teenagers. LOL But hey, at least I'm getting a date night and some time away from the house out of it. ^-^

Anyway, this has led me to give my readers a chance to win my latest release, Never Too Late.

It's real easy. Just drop a note here, saying hi or what do you have planned now that school has started again. A name will be randomly drawn and the winner will receive a copy of Never Too Late.

Deadline: Friday 9/4 by 9pm EST

Good Luck!

I've been wanting to read this since "A Gift Worth Sharing" I'm actually sorry that summer is ending. I hate sending the kids back to school. :)

I just love the quiet of an empty house. I get my chores done so much faster, and then is reading time, with no interruptions!!! Love that.

Hi Marty! My hubby is off this week too. I keep getting pulled into all of his projects here. Me, I like to relax sometimes, but he's on the move all the time! My one daughter goes back to the local college so she's busy with that and work. My son wasn't able to get into the community college this year so he's with us still til that happens. So its still full here! So just doing things around the home during this time and too getting some organizing done! That's the worse that needs to be done here!

After a year of homeschooling, Lisa, I was glad to give the duty to certified teachers. :) They sooo don't get paid enough - lol

And I'm with you on getting things done faster with a quieter house, Cathy :) No one bugging for this, that, or the other.

I've done nothing but go this week, Caffey. Husband wanted to do this, get this accomplished, and etc...not including the denist appts and other responsibilities I had to get done. But hopefully, everything will settle after Labor Day.

My son has been back in school since Aug 4th. We're still working out the kinks in the schedule. I work a 40 hour week but I start and end at 3:00 so I get to spend time with the kid most days. I like that a lot.

My nest is empty once again as my son has gone off to senior year in college. Here's hoping neither he nor his sister finds themselves needing to live with me again, LOL!

I'm kind of enjoying having the house to myself. So far, anyway!

I've started working every morning while my youngest is in kindergarten. I've also gotten in a little more reading time!

I can't believe summer is over. It will be cold soon and it's the perfect time to snuggle in with some good books.

Thanks,

For me, Back To School isn't any different than the summer. I live with my son and his family. My grandson had Summer School, so... No, it is different. My grandson has a longer day, so I get more reading done.

Hi!

I don't have kids, so all stays quiet on the home front, but I work for a university so things will start getting busy next week. Kinda of looking forward to it, just like at the end of the year I start looking forward to them leaving.

Hi Marty!

I am home schooling my daughter again this year, she is in the 11th grade. Back to school doesn't change my routine too much, but when she goes to college, I plan on a vacation for me! :) Can't wait to read Never Too Late, looks wonderful.

I have a stack of books that I plan on reading! I'm going to be able to get at them when things are settled down.

The only thing I have planned now that school has started is starting a new job of my own. I was fortunate enough to be hired by a company and will soon be finally working.

Yeah, school is in session and now I have more time to read now that I am not doing "kiddie" things.
