Wicked Wednesday

Today is that time of the month. *lol* No, not THAT time, but Wicked Wednesday time at Forbidden Whispers. Once a month, from 3pm Eastern to about 10pm, there are scheduled Forbidden Authors who get about an hour to talk about books, give excerpts, and do contests. Stop by and have some fun and make some friends.

I was really bad and didn't get the schedule *hiding head* but I do know the first one up is Maria Roy aka Collette Thomas who has two books with Forbidden.

Four days of NaNo left

Ok, I'm sooo not going to make 50K this year. I'm only at 26,658 so far and there's only 4 days left :( But this is only my first year and real life really kicked my butt this month...along with an uncooperative muse *lol* There's always next year *being positive here* At least my story is almost done :) along with the idea for the next three books to the series (told you my muse was being uncooperative - instead of keeping with the story, it decided to start mapping out the other books of the series)

So, how do you like the banner? And new blog format? A dear friend Dreaming in Purple made the banner and I love it :) She's so good at art. No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get those little tricks down. I don't think I do so bad...I did the one on my website's calendar...but hers always turns out awesome. Thanks dear *hug*

Hopefully the format will be have. Somehow the right sidebar keeps shifting to below all the posts and on the leftside. I read somewhere that as I add more posts to the blog it should right itself. Let's see if this helps *shrug* If not, please bear with me until I get it fixed. Anyone out there know much about templates? I'm flying blind here (and thankful for google searches *lol* )

Well, it's that time of year again It's a time of turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and who can forget football? But most important...please give thanks to those you love and share your life with.

An Awesome Read

Ok, I took a little time off today from NaNo to do a little reading instead of writing (I know, bad me ;)) But I'm going to sit here and do a little plugging for another author (because my life is boring right now and don't really have anything else to say *lol* )

If you haven't read any of Sierra Dafoe's work...then you are missing out! I've read the first two books of her Devarian Trilogy and love it! They are sexy and reviting. I was on the edge of my seat by the end of the second one, "Devarin Uprising". I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the thrid book, along with her newest release, "The Dragon's Daughter". On to the third week of NaNo

I hope everyone had a wonderful veterns weekend. If you didn't thank a vetern, it's never too late *G*

Well, I am heading into the third week of Nation Novel Writing Month...and I'm not doing as well as I wanted to. My muse *cursing it* decided to quit on me last week putting me really behind, but I'm working on my count this week. I'm only at a little over 15,000. Since this is my first year trying this I'm hoping to do well and would like to make the 50,000 word goal...if not, well, there's always next year

Tomorrow I'll try and figure out what events FP has coming up and see if there is any news on my upcoming releases.

I'm excited about using this, since I've never been into blogging, so we'll see how this goes.

Make sure you check back often. I try to post at least once a week with events and how things are going. I know that I will be hosting a contest coming in December, then also one in January, then also in February for books I have being released (if all stays as scheduled).

I'm still in the process of designing this blog, so bare with it's plainess and changes that may occur when you visit me. I will be adding and trying different things as I learn to do them. So...if anyone has a clue how for me to change things...please don't hesitate to let me know ;) I hate begging *lol*
